DucAfrica Terms & Conditions
Welcome to ducafrica.com. By registering for any DucAfrica retreat, workshop or course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once:
- payment has been successfully received; and
- the participant receives a booking confirmation via WhatsApp.
Once confirmed, your place is reserved. If an activity reaches full capacity, additional participants may be placed on a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available.
2. Booking Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Our cancellation policy balances fairness to participants with the operational costs of organising retreats, workshops and courses.

Cancellation Requests
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to elarabookings@gmail.com. Participants may notify DucAfrica via WhatsApp in an emergency; however, a cancellation is treated as formally received only when the email is received. The applicable cancellation period is determined by the date and time of that email.
Compassionate Exceptions
Exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or bereavement may be considered individually at DucAfrica's sole discretion. Any exception is a gesture of goodwill and does not create a precedent.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through Paystack as reversals to the original payment method. DucAfrica cannot redirect refunds to another account unless it is the original payment account. Refunds are generally processed within 7–12 business days. Payments are refunded rather than transferred between activities.
4. Activity Changes
DucAfrica may cancel, postpone or modify an activity where necessary. Where DucAfrica cancels an activity, participants will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their booking to another available activity.
5. Privacy
Your use of ducafrica.com is also governed by the DucAfrica Privacy Policy. These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the DucAfrica Privacy Policy.
